Bahrain-based heavyweight Shamil Gaziev is set to take on Australia’s Brando Pericic on May 2 in Perth, Australia, as part of UFC Fight Night 275.
The matchup gives Gaziev a chance to get back in the win column after a disappointing outing in November 2025. At UFC Fight Night 265, the former MMA Series fighter suffered a first-round knockout loss to Waldo Cortes-Acosta. Gaziev currently owns a professional record of 14 wins and 2 losses.
Pericic, meanwhile, enters the bout with momentum following a stoppage win over Louis Sutherland at UFC Fight Night 270 in March. The Australian holds a 6-1 record in his professional career.
