RIZIN has confirmed a featherweight matchup between former title challenger Viktor Kolesnik and undefeated Japanese prospect Kazuki Aimoto. The bout will take place on March 7 at RIZIN 52.
Kolesnik returns after falling short in a title fight last September, when he was stopped in the first round by Rajaballi Shaidullaev. Despite the setback, the veteran remains a proven threat in the division. For Aimoto, the fight marks his promotional debut — and a major step up in competition.
