Khabib’s cousin set to defend his belt against the PFL Grand Prix winner

A major PFL event is set for February 7 in Dubai, where lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov will put his title on the line in the main event against the most recent PFL Grand Prix winner, Alfie Davis.

Nurmagomedov has fought 20 times in his career and won every bout, finishing 14 of them. In 2024, Usman defeated his biggest career rival, Paul Hughes, twice — completing a clean 2–0 sweep in their rivalry. Nurmagomedov’s new opponent, Davis, is well known to local fans thanks largely to his surprising win over Gadzhi Rabadanov in the PFL lightweight Grand Prix final. Overall, the British fighter holds a record of 20 wins, five losses and one draw.
