UFC light heavyweight No. 6 Azamat Murzakanov has a new opponent. He is set to face former middleweight title challenger Paulo Costa.
The bout is scheduled for April 12 and is expected to be one of the marquee fights at UFC 327.
Murzakanov has recorded six wins in the promotion, with five of them coming by knockout.
Paulo Costa is widely regarded as one of the most flamboyant fighters in the UFC today. In recent years, the Brazilian has alternated between wins and losses, but in 2025 he managed to get back on track with a victory over Roman Kopylov.
Now, Costa is set to test himself at light heavyweight, and the UFC has immediately given him a chance against a top contender.
