Makhachev’s former foe set to return after back-to-back losses at UFC Las Vegas

A UFC event will take place on April 4 at the Apex arena in Ln Chris Duncan. For the Brazilian, the upcoming appearance will be his 18th in the UFC and his second since losing to Islam Makhachev at the start of 2025. Duncan has made seven appearances for the promotion, winning six of them.

In the third most prominent bout on the card at Apex, Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev will face Brendson Ribeiro inside the Octagon. It will be the second UFC appearance for the Turkey-based fighter of Chechen descent, who needed just 33 seconds to knock out Rafael Cerqueira in his promotional debut.

Russian fighter Azamat Bekoev will also compete on the card. He brings a 2-1 record from his first three UFC bouts. Bekoev’s new opponent will be American Tresean Gore.

All fighters scheduled for UFC Las Vegas successfully made it through the official weigh-in procedure.
