Phygital MMA at the Games of the Future 2025: Kuznya dominates in Abu Dhabi

On December 22–23, Abu Dhabi hosted the Games of the Future 2025, an international multi-sport event built around the phygital format, combining traditional sports with esports disciplines.

The MMA competition followed a hybrid format. Each matchup consisted of two parts: a digital bout on console in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, followed by a real-life fight inside the octagon. The MMA fights were contested over three rounds, four minutes each.

After the opening day, the Kuznya team from Krasnodar took the lead, pulling six points clear of their closest rivals. On Day 2, Kuznya extended their advantage to 12 points, finishing the tournament with a total of 50 points.
Arm Fighting secured second place with 38 points, edging out Arabian Phantoms, who also finished on 38.
