Shara Bullet vs. UFC lightweight No. 1 contender Arman Tsarukyan

On December 30 in Yerevan, the Hype league event will take place, with the main event featuring a grappling match between Russian UFC stars Sharaputdin Magomedov (aka Shara Bullet) and Arman Tsarukyan.

The elite Dagestani middleweight will test himself against the No. 1 contender in the UFC lightweight rankings—the top promotion in the United States—on Tsarukyan’s home turf. For Shara Bullet, this will be his first experience competing in a grappling match at this level, while Tsarukyan has already scored wins in this format over stars such as Benson Henderson, Mehdi Baydulaev, Patricky Freire, and others.

Shara Bullet and Arman Tsarukyan will compete under “submission only” rules. That means if neither athlete secures a submission—via a joint lock or choke—the match will be declared a draw. The bout duration is 6 minutes, with a weight limit of 84 kg.
