From Umar Nurmagomedov to Andrey Pulyaev: Fighters to Watch at UFC 324

On January 24, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will host the blockbuster UFC 324 event, which will mark the opening of the best American promotion’s 2025 calendar. In the main event, Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett will clash for the interim lightweight title. Just before them, the octagon will welcome Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes, who are set to battle for the women’s bantamweight championship.

In addition, UFC 324 will feature four bouts involving Russian fighters. The highest-placed of them on the card is the light heavyweight matchup between Nikita Krylov and Modestas Bukauskas. As a reminder, in his most recent outing, the fighter from the Luhansk region suffered a knockout loss to Bogdan Guskov. Earlier on the card, fans will see a fight featuring the No. 1 contender in the bantamweight division, Umar Nurmagomedov. The cousin of legendary Khabib Nurmagomedov will face former UFC champion Deiveson Figueiredo. Right before that, middleweights Andrey Pulyaev and Ateba Gautier will step into the octagon. A student of Alexander Shlemenko, Pulyaev is set to undergo a serious test against one of the promotion’s most frightening young knockout artists.
