Bonfim beats former champion Muhammad, Allen takes decision over Shahbazyan at UFC Vegas

The UFC returned to Las Vegas on June 7 with a card headlined by Brazil’s Gabriel Bonfim against former UFC champion Belal Muhammad of the United States.

Bonfim and Muhammad went the full five rounds in the main event, but the Brazilian controlled the action and earned a dominant unanimous decision victory. With the result, Muhammad has now suffered his third consecutive defeat.

In the co-main event, middleweights Brendan Allen and Edmen Shahbazyan shared the Octagon for three rounds. Allen did enough across the fight to walk away with a unanimous decision win.
