Gasanov set for MMA Series debut against Silva in Moscow

MMA Series has officially announced a heavyweight bout featuring Rostov’s Magomed Gasanov, who will make his promotional debut on May 30 at MMA Series 94 in Moscow. Gasanov will face Brazil’s Janderson Silva.
Gasanov represents the Peresvet team and brings a strong amateur résumé into the matchup. The Russian heavyweight is a multiple-time Russian and world champion in MMA and combat sambo. As a professional, Gasanov remains unbeaten, with all three of his victories coming by stoppage.
Silva has been competing in professional MMA since 2016 and enters the fight with a record of 12 wins and six losses. The Brazilian, nicknamed “Cobrinha,” is known for his finishing instincts, with most of his fights not reaching the final bell. Dangerous both on the ground and on the feet, Silva has the ability to end fights by submission or knockout.
The bout will mark the MMA Series debut for both fighters. Silva will look to prove that his experience and finishing ability can travel to a new stage, while Gasanov aims to extend his unbeaten run and make a statement in his first appearance for the promotion.
