Khamzat Chimaev Ready for UFC Return, Caio Borralho Responds to Callout

Former UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev says he is ready to return to the Octagon and has named several potential opponents for his next fight. Brazil’s Caio Borralho has already responded to the callout.

Chimaev took to social media to address the UFC middleweight division, tagging Sean Strickland, Dricus du Plessis, Nassourdine Imavov and Borralho.

“I’m ready. Let me know when you guys are ready,” Chimaev wrote.

Borralho was quick to respond, saying he would be willing to face Chimaev before the end of the year.

“Finally someone called my name! Brother, you know I love you. I’m ready to fight at MSG in November or T-Mobile Arena in December. Just let me know,” the Brazilian wrote on social media.

Chimaev last competed at UFC 328 in May 2026, when he lost the UFC middleweight title to Sean Strickland via split decision in the main event. The defeat marked the first loss of Chimaev’s professional career, moving his record to 15-1.

Borralho most recently fought on March 8 at UFC 326, earning a unanimous decision victory over Reinier de Ridder. The 33-year-old Brazilian owns a professional record of 18-2 with one no contest.
