Tahir Abdullaev targets late October or early November for UFC return

Tahir Abdullaev already has a timeline in mind for his next UFC appearance.

Coming off a successful promotional debut in Baku, Abdullaev said he plans to take a brief break before getting back into a full training camp. The UFC fighter pointed to late October or early November as the likely window for his next bout.

“I’ll start preparing next week, and I’ll probably fight once in late October or early November,” Abdullaev said.

For now, Abdullaev said the priority is staying active, gaining more experience inside the UFC and continuing to adjust to the promotion’s level.

“The main thing is to get a couple more fights and feel at home,” Abdullaev said. “I need to prepare properly. We’ll get ready, build up physically, and then we’ll see who to call out. We’ll win one more fight, and then we’ll really start pushing.”

Abdullaev also said he has three fights remaining on his current UFC contract.
